Each month we will be sharing wine varietals from around the world. Come learn what makes each varietal special with your four legged friends … and maybe some two legged as well.
We will have between 6 to 10 wines per event and snack pairings. Your dog will enjoy not only running around with friends but meeting new people as well.
Each event will have a fun competitive element. Examples include: “Predict what wine will be the highest rated, before we start the tasting”, “Who’s dog can predict the highest rated wine, before the tasting”, “Guess the prices of each wine” and “Show up in the most wine related clothing or accessories for you and/or your dog”.
Prizes examples: Bottles of wine, Pickles Playland credits, event tickets and dog barkery items.
MARCH 3RD: California Cabernets and Chocolates. Yes, CHOCOLATE TASTING! Our competition for this event will be chocolate stacking. We will provide you with chocolates, whoever stacks the most without it falling will win.
APRIL 7TH: Oregan / Washington Pinots
MAY 5TH: Wines of France
JUNE 2ND: Wines of Italy
JULY 7TH: Sangria Making & Tasting. This event is also a competition to see who comes up with the best sangria. Everyone will make a couple of their own concoctions for others to try, at the end we will vote for our favorite.
AUGUST 4TH: Wine of South Africa & Australia

PRICING: 1 person: $25, 2 people: $40 (saves $10), 1 year wine passport: $250 (saves $50).

Pickle’s Playland is a 21yrs + establishment at all times, because we serve alcohol. Membership is not required for public events. However, members receive free or discounted event pricing, merchandise discounts and multiple other benefits. Pickles Playland offers 50% off the membership fee for clients that attend and sign up during events. To become a member, please provide either your veterinarian’s contact info or you can bring your dog’s proof of rabies, bordetella, distemper and a clean fecal test from within the last year.
