Bring your favourite Villa Maria wine, wear your best Christmas jumper and be in to win some great prizes from Villa Maria wines.

Winter warmers is a great way to make new friends, or connect with old ones at this relaxed virtual get together. Hosted by Tiffany Hardy, drop in for a chat, share a laugh, tackle a problem or simply have a natter with fellow kiwis.

Bring a glass (or two) of your favourite of Villa Maria wine for a virtual tasting, led by Natalie Walsh, the UK-based brand ambassador for the Villa Maria Family of wines. Natalie will guide us through a Villa Maria wine tasting and follow with a short quiz, with some fantastic prizes on offer just in time for Christmas.

Wear your best Christmas outfit, pour a glass of wine and settle in for a relaxed winter evening. Everyone welcome, so bring a friend and make some new ones! It’s not quite the pub, but we promise it will be the next best thing.

What wine shall I bring?

Natalie Walsh, wine extraordinnaire will be leading a short wine tasting. Check out her recommendations on what wine to buy and where:

  • Villa Maria Cellar Selection or Private Bin Range – Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc Blush, Pinot Grigio (Gris), Pinot Noir, Riesling, Merlot. Available at: NZ House of Wine or Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s from £9.50 – £15
  • LeftField Albariño or Malbec – Albariño is a white grape originally from Spain and Malbec is Red originally from France these are both exciting grape varieties for New Zealand. Available at: NZ House of Wine and Wine Rack stores throughout London and Greater London for £12-15 (worth every penny!).

About Natalie Walsh, Villa Maria wines:

The past 17 years have taken Natalie across the burgeoning wine regions of New Zealand, including Marlborough, Central Otago, Hawkes Bay and Martinborough. Well-versed in the factors that influence wine styles, she has studied viticulture and is currently completing the coveted Diploma at WSET in London. Natalie’s mastery of the technical aspects of wine production will help you master the art of wine tasting and test your knowledge of New Zealand wines.
