This Petersham Cellar wine tasting in Richmond will be showcasing two of the most fantastic red grapes grown in Italy. Pinot Nero, grown in the North of Italy (originally from Burgundy, France and known as Pinot Noir) and Nerello Mascalese from the South of Italy. The two grapes are closely linked in the style of wines produced but come from very different areas, grown in completely diverse conditions, from landscape and climate to soil. This will be a comparative tasting, focusing on the differences between the two varieties. Cheese, charcuterie, bread and oil will be provided throughout the tasting. We will be offering a special discount on the day.
