The Anglican Church of St John the Evangelist – located along Sens Mile at the intersection of Elgin and Somerset streets – will host a public Wine Tasting event with sommelier Robbie MacLeod on Saturday, May 11 from 7 to 10 pm. This event is part of a series of community initiatives to attract people into our open church and to raise funds for our mission and ministries. The Refugee Assistance Group – sponsoring refugees from overseas and assisting them and their families in adjusting to their new lives in the national capital region – will be featured during the evening.
