Wine Discovery Webinar Series

Join us for a virtual webinar wine series, hosted by Rafael de Lima, Maryhill Winery and Circle Alliances, where you will discover new things about the wine industry and end the series thinking differently about how to choose your wines. We’ll introduce new wines, blends and varietals to wine connoisseurs including an exploration of the broad variety of wines available from Washington State, Portugal and other wine regions in the world. This series of three webinars will provide a fun setting for storytelling, education and a deeper understanding of Maryhill wines.

This webinar series includes 3 separate events. Choose any date and purchase the “Full Series” ticket. You only need to do this once.

The ticket will be good for the following events:

• Series 1: Tasting Education, July 10, 5:30-6:30pm PST
• Series 2: Rhone Region, July 24, 5:30-6:30pm PST
• Series 3: Regional Blends, August 7, 5:30-6:30pm PST

The wines that will be featured in each series are available for purchase at maryhillwinery.com so you can enjoy them during the tastings. Receive a flat rate $20 ground shipping fee when you purchase the 12-pack featured in the full series. Wine purchasing details will be available once you’ve registered to participate.

The series will be hosted by Rafael de Lima, a Portugese wine professional and the founder of Rafael de Lima Wine Experiences. Rafael brings an extensive hospitality background, having worked with some of the top global brands in luxury hotels including the RItz-Carlton and Rosewood Hotels in the U.S., Switzerland, France, Malta and the U.K. He is also a wine bar owner and producer, and regularly leads wine tours to the famous wine regions of Portugal including the Douro Valley and the Vinho Verde, home of the albarino grape. He is also recognized in the Top 5 Airbnb Experience offerings.

Maryhill Winery owners Craig and Vicki Leuthold will join the webinars to guide you through the specifics of the wines you’ll be tasting and provide information on this remarkable region of wine. Doug Koob is a food and beverage consultant in the SF Bay Area and the founder of Circle Alliances which helps to grow food and beverage brands. Tastemakers by Circle Alliances is a platform that Doug launched to create and share memorable food and beverage experiences with emerging and innovative brands, products, and entrepreneurs. Doug is a long time friend of Maryhill Winery and a member of their wine club. He met Rafael de Lima in 2019 when visiting Portugal with his family and is helping connect him to wine lovers and enthusiasts across the globe.
