United Cellars Tasting Room
From bone-dry styles to its sweetest expressions – and everything in between – Riesling has captured the attention of wine lovers worldwide. This fresh, aromatic, acidic white variety hailing originally from Germany has a unique story to tell, from its history, aromas, and flavours to its versatile food-friendliness (think spicy!) and divine age-worthiness.
At our November Tuesday Tutorial, take a tasting tour with us to discover the many reasons for – and regions of – this noble white grape. From your glass, your senses will visit some of Riesling’s most popular homes, from Mosel and Rheinhessen in Germany to Alsace in France, Australia’s own Eden and Clare Valleys, and other intriguing New World regions.
Uncover your own Riesling reasons and favourites! Grab your ticket to join your United Cellars host at our on-site Tasting Room in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo (140 William Street) at 6:30pm on Tuesday 1 November 2022. Educational, entertaining, and enticing, the night promises to tick all the boxes!
United Cellars Tuesday Tutorials take place on the first Tuesday of every month in the Tasting Room of our Woolloomooloo headquarters. On these relaxed, informal evenings, we share the stories behind the regions, the varietals, the wines, and the winemakers. What’s more, we enjoy some delicious wines – carefully curated from our United Cellars stock, along with some tasty nibbles. These nights are about enjoying great wine in great company, from the newly wine-curious to vino aficionados. Plus, no two Tuesday Tutorials are ever the same, so you can keep coming back! If you like wine as much as we do, be sure to add these drink dates to your diary!
