Tuesday Tutorials: Fortified Wines // 2nd June 2020, 6:30pm

It’s back! Due to popular demand, 2020 sees the return of the Tuesday Tutorial series of wine events. Through 2019 we shared stories and learnt so much about how wine is made and why it tastes like it does, and we’re looking forward to making 2020 even bigger and better.

With winter well and truly taken hold, we’ll dig into the wonderful world of Fortified Wines. These oft-forgotten styles of wine include Port, Sherry and Madeira, have an incredibly interesting and long history. We’ll get into the stories behind these wine styles, as well as how each is made and how this impacts flavour. These wines are always perfect for the colder months, so come on in from the cold and try some!

We’ll have some lovely plates of cheeses and charcuterie to warm those cockles, as will the stories, and of course the wines!
