Italian white wines are more than just Pinot Grigio! Italy is home to more than 350 approved indigenous grape varietals, and many of them produce delicious, easy drinking white wines at a great price. In this session, we will explore some of Italy’s white grape varieties, and you may find some new favorites!
- Arneis from Piedmonte
- Vermentino from Sardinia
- Fiano di Avellino from Campania
- Kerner from Alto Adige (If you can’t find a Kerner, get a Verdicchio from Marche)
After you register, I will send you the Zoom link and a list of suggested wines to purchase. You will also receive a sheet on How to Taste Wine, a tasting sheet for taking notes during the course, and a packet of information about the wines and regions we will be covering.
All participants are responsible for purchasing their own wines.
