Before lockdown, when we used to go out, it was so lovely to join friends for a glass or two of wine! Now we can’t, The Social Sip gives you a chance to raise a glass with other like minded women and maybe learn a little about what’s in your glass and find some new wines to love!
With our small, very informal events, we talk a little bit about a wine, getting to know what it goes well with, and having a good taste of it, of course! But it’s really all about a little sociable learning, from the comfort of your own home. Like book club, but no need to worry about not having finished the book!! Just buy a bottle of wine, log on and away we go!
Each month we choose a different wine. This month, it’s Gruner Veltliner , mostly grown in Austria, but also found in other parts of Central Europe. A little less well known, this is a brilliant winter white wine and I think you’re going to love it!
