Taste of the School’s – This session is for those who’ve wondered what quality of Faculty the School’s provide for the best education experience possible and for those who were planning to attend! This Session will give you a taste of a couple speakers who we have showcased in the past. In this one hour webinar, we would like to provide for you a tax update on domestic and cross border tax issues from two respected experts in the field; Jamie Golombek and Christine Perry.

This one hour webinar, sponsored by Advocis Banff School, Advocis Atlantic School and Advocis Okanagan School. CE credits (Quebec not included) will be given for attendees who attend the live event.

Speakers Bios

Corry Collins

Corry Collins will moderate the session. Corry has previously acted as the master of ceremonies for all three Advocis Schools and has been a professional emcee for conferences around the world.

Jamie Golombek

Managing director, Tax & Estate Planning with CIBC Toronto,

Jamie is a managing director, Tax & Estate Planning with CIBC in Toronto. Jamie works closely with advisors from across CIBC to support their clients and deliver integrated financial planning and strong advsiory solutions. Jamie is quoted frequently in the media as an expert on taxation and is a regular contributor to the National Post.

Christine Perry

Partner, Gowling WLG Toronto,

Christine is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. Christine’s practice focuses on domestic and cross-border tax and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, including trust taxation, personal tax planning, asset protection, insurance planning, estate administration, and tax dispute resolution. Christine is licensed to practice law in both Ontario and New York. She has been quoted frequently in various publications, including the National Post and Investment Executive and has authored an award-winning paper in the Estates, Trusts and Pensions Journal.
