We are excited to share our Rhiz(H)ome Virtual Beer Experiences with and hope you can join in!

Rhizome Productions is very excited to announce the 3rd Edition of Rhiz(H)ome Virtual Beer Experience taking place on Saturday, August 15 from 2-4 pm. There will only be 24 packages available for this limited opportunity. As always we are honored to work with the team at Woodland Wine Merchant to make this experience possible.

Each package is $119 (plus tax) and designed for 2-4 people. For our Belgian/Trappist Beer Experience, we would suggest doing this at home tasting with 4 total people as the average ABV is pretty high! Each package includes a custom 9 pack from several of the best Belgian breweries, cheese, charcuterie, chocolate, and great merchandise.

All of these amazing beers are imported by Merchant du Vin. They have been importing amazing beers from all over Europe to the United States since 1978. Rob Nelson, who has been with the company for 20 years will be joining us for this event and has not only visited all the breweries but has great stories to share. Additionally, we plan to have representatives from some of the breweries join us live or they will send us a video recording.

Cheese curated by The Bloomy Rind

-Ruby/Green Dirt Farm, MOA soft, washed rind cheese made from a blend of sheep and cows milk. Buttery, vegetal, with some pleasant umami.

-18 month Dutch Gouda/BeemsterButterscotchy, crystally, cheese candy goodness.

-Dunbarton Blue/Roelli Cheese, WIAged, natural rind cheddar with just a bit of blue throughout.

Charcuterie by Nicky’s Coal Fired

-House-made pork rillette-traditional French charcuterie of potted meat

-Dry-cured beef bresaola-eye of beef round, cured with black & white peppercorn

Chocolate by Olive & Sinclair

-Butter Milk White Chocolate

How it works:

-Pick up from Woodland Wine Merchant August 12-14 during regular business hours, contactless service

-Block your calendar for Saturday, August 15, 2-4 pm, we will host a live interactive Zoom that will feature Matt and Kendall from Rhizome Productions, representatives from each brewery plus Rob Nelson with Merchant du Vin, plus an intermission concert at 3 pm. If you are unable to make the live call, we will provide you with a link to download the video.

-Guests are encouraged to create a cheese/charcuterie plate and to submit photos, whomever has the nicest will win a special bottle of beer from the Rhizome Cellar
