Practice conversational Spanish whilst exploring topical issues. All discussion is in Spanish and recommended for those with a minimum intermediate Spanish-language understanding.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Our conversation will focus on exploring political changes in Latin America in 2020, in particular: the change of constitution in Chile, feminist movements in Mexico, and protests in Guatemala and Peru
No knowledge of the conversation topic is necessary, just a love of speaking Spanish!
It is not a language lesson but a relaxed discussion allowing you to practice Spanish with a very friendly group! Maximum group size is 6 attendees so everyone gets a chance to participate.
We will meet online via Zoom. A link will be sent to you before the event.
OUR STORY
We are Spanish Marks, an ethical school offering online 1-to-1 Spanish lessons, as well as Spanish events, including talks, film nights, wine-tastings and much more! We believe learning Spanish should be fulfilling, immersive and above all, fun! Giving back to local communities is at our core, and we partner with local charities in Guatemala.
The session will be recorded with the possible use for social media.
¡Hasta pronto!
