Giuseppe is a highly regarded Italian winemaker from the Piedmont region of Italy. He is the owner and winemaker of the Giuseppe Cortese winery located in the commune of Barbaresco.

The winery was founded by Giuseppe’s father, Pier Carlo Cortese, in the early 1970s, and Giuseppe took over the business in the 1990s. Giuseppe’s winemaking philosophy is based on tradition and terroir, with a focus on producing wines that express the unique characteristics of the vineyards where the grapes are grown.

The winery produces a range of wines, including Barbaresco DOCG, Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Barbera d’Alba DOC, and Dolcetto d’Alba DOC. The flagship wine of the winery is the Barbaresco Rabajà, which is produced from grapes grown in the Rabajà vineyard, one of the most renowned vineyards in the Barbaresco appellation.

Giuseppe Cortese’s wines are known for their elegance, balance, and complexity. He uses only natural yeasts and minimal intervention in the winemaking process to allow the grapes to express their full potential. His wines have received numerous awards and accolades, including high scores from wine critics such as Robert Parker and James Suckling.
