Holiday Wine Tasting

The Kipsongo Project is excited to partner with Wino(t) and Aslina Wines to bring you an exciting virtual holiday wine tasting! Lindsay Gulics, a sommelier with experience at some of NYC’s finest restaurants, will walk us through a tasting of a trio of wines from Aslina.

Aslina was founded by Ntsiki Beyala, South Africa’s first black female winemaker. Ntsiki’s award winning wines have drawn acclaim in South Africa and beyond and we couldn’t be more excited to sample her wines. We strongly encourage you to read about Ntsiki’s impressive journey to becoming one of South Africa’s leading winemakers!

Proceeds from the event benefit The Kipsongo Project which works to empower the Kipsongo community in western Kenya by providing a comprehensive range of projects including child and adult education, nutrition, health, and economic empowerment.

Some logistical information:

– The price of the event includes 3 bottles of wine, shipping, and a 2 hour virtual wine tasting

– The tasting will take place via Zoom and a link will be sent out closer to the day of the event

– Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, November 26th so that wines can be packaged and shipped in time for the tasting
