Chardonnay is an incredibly polarising grape variety. Some love it (it’s one of the most popular wines in the world); others have ascribed to an ABC (anything-but-Chardonnay) approach to white-wine drinking. The question is: Have you really gotten to know Chardonnay?
One of the true classic white varieties, Chardonnay is an early-budding, early-ripening grape that can grow in a range of climates and soils. Consequently, it can be made in a wide range of styles, with something to suit everyone – think blanc de blanc Champagne; lean, steely Chablis; smoky Yarra Valley expressions; big, buttery American Chardys; and more.
Join us on Thursday 21st September at 6:30pm to taste a superb selection of these versatile wines. At this seated event, host Nicole Gow will take you through Chardonnay’s esteemed regions and styles, and most important – you’ll get to taste more than 25 of them! Chefs will provide a range of scrumptious small plates to accompany these fine wines! Come along and find your new favourite Chardonnay – it promises to be a memorable and delicious evening.
Our previous Chardonnay events have sold out quickly, so get in early to secure your seat.
We will announce the full wine selection closer to the event date.
