DoCSoc Does Wine Tasting (at Home!)

Have been bored at home and missed socialising? The time has come for some new virtual events!

Join DoCSoc on this Wine Tasting Masterclass held by Wine and Cheese connoisseur Francis Gimblett!

During the event you will learn how to detect grape types, regions and quality of international wines! We will also offer non-alcoholic packs containing seedlip, non-alcoholic vermouths and cordials for anyone who does not drink wine. Francis will also be hosting mini quizzes with the opportunity to win some prizes!

Tickets include: six 100ml bottles of wine delivered to you, a tasting card and an hour long masterclass held by Francis Gimblett. We will keep the call open longer to just have a chat after!

Ticket prices at £10 to attend and will be released at 1pm on the 24th of July on Eventbrite. You will then have 2 hours to confirm and purchase the product from the Imperial College Union Shop.

– You must be aged 18 or over on the 24th of August to take part.

– You must have a UK home to deliver the wine to. If you are based outside of the UK please let us know and we can see what we are able to arrange for you.

– You must be a member of DoCSoc by Tuesday 25th July in order to be admitted. Computing, JMC, and EIE students are automatically members of DoCSoc. Membership is £30.
