Join award-winning author Sulari Gentill, former director of the Tasmanian Writers Festival Chris Gallagher, fabulous winemaker Kate Hill Wines and local wine expert Winsor Dobbin for an evening of delicious wine, delectable Cygnet Old Bank platters and sparkling literary conversation.
Each of Kate’s wines will be matched with an excerpt from Sulari’s latest historical mystery, All the Tears in China, and delicious Cygnet Old Bank platters. Copies of the novel will be available on the night.
All funds raised go to the free community program in the new Huon Valley readers and writers festival, Murder She Wrote. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Fundraising – $1 = $2
Thanks to generosity from our donors, $50 from every ticket sold goes to fundraising for the festival’s free community program.
All funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar by MATCH Lab ($1 = $2). $50 donated becomes $100 raised.

Group Bookings
If you wish to be seated in a group, please make a single booking for the total number of people in your group.
An Exclusive Salon
For avid fans, there are just four (4) places available in an exclusive one-hour literary salon with Sulari, to be held prior to the soiree. Guests in the salon will also be seated at Sulari’s table during the soiree ($120 + GST).
Private Salon
For readers who would prefer a private salon with Sulari, a 15 minute one-on-one may be possible.
Food Allergies or Seating Needs
To ensure you enjoy the soiree, once you have booked your ticket please advise us by email if you have any special needs, such as a wheelchair space or a food allergy.
Please clearly advise us of any dairy free, nut free, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan or other food requirements.
Please note that if you do not advise us at the time of booking your ticket we may not be able to cater for your individual needs on the day.
Refund Policy
As this event is part of a fundraising drive, tickets are not refundable. They are transferable.
