The annual Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference is the premier educational program for produce growers and winemakers in Kentucky.

This virtual conference is devoted completely to fruit, vegetable and wine production, handling, harvesting, marketing, storage and related topics. Approximately 500 growers, researchers, ag professionals, and technical service providers attend the Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference each year. In 2021, virtual sessions and topics are as follows:

• Tuesday, Jan. 5 – General Session / Protected Ag Technologies• Tuesday, Jan. 12 – Organic Production / Beginning Vegetable Production• Tuesday, Jan. 19 – Advanced Fruit Production / Business Management• Tuesday, Jan. 26 – Advanced Vegetable Production / Beginning Fruit ProductionA virtual wine tasting will be Tuesday, Jan. 5 from 6-7 pm and a Farmers Market Short Course will be held Sunday, Jan. 24, from 4-6 pm

Daily sessions will run from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (eastern)/8:00 am – 2:00 pm (central), with a break for lunch. Registration allows entrance to all conference sessions and access to session recordings after the meeting. Some Extension offices are making meeting space available where sessions will be livestreamed, if you want an in-person option or your internet connection is unreliable.

Start by selecting the ticket associated with membership in the grower group that best describes your interests. Please note that any ticket type gives you access to all sessions and the $25/person fee will include an annual membership in KVGA, KSHS, or OAK (usually $40/year) for 2021. Attendance at the annual meeting is not required for membership.

You are welcome to join more than one member organization; each annual membership includes one admission to the conference. (For example, 1 KVGA + 1 KSHS = 2 conference registrations.) All participants should register ($25/person).

A research fund contribution to the Kentucky Horticulture Research Initiative (KHRI) can be selected and added to your order before check-out.
